The Peace Table Articles
The Peace Table is the public-facing front end of the Lightning Path and SpiritWiki. It is a a publication designed to introduce general readers to the LP’s core teachings, worldview, and transformative framework, while also exploring the theoretical foundations of Eupsychia (Maslow’s name for the Good Society) across the full spectrum of human knowledge.
Rooted in Abraham Maslow’s vision of December 8, 1941 — the day after Pearl Harbor, when Maslow imagined a gathering place where people could speak seriously about “human nature and hatred and war and peace and brotherhood” — The Peace Table carries forward the mission of what Maslow called a “Psychology for the Peace Table”: a scholarship aimed not at adjusting people to a damaged world, but at understanding what human beings truly need to flourish.
Where the SpiritWiki serves as the LP’s deep canonical knowledge base — a dense, associative, transdisciplinary repository of theory, cosmology, and praxis — The Peace Table functions as its accessible interface. It distills complex LP concepts — Toxic Socialization, the Connection Framework, the HEALING model, the Fabric of Consciousness, Authentic Spirituality, and the architecture of Eupsychia — into rigorous yet readable articles for a broad, non-specialist audience. At the same time, it serves as a forum for sustained theoretical exploration of the psychological, sociological, historical, neurological, and political foundations of the Good Society — the empirical and scholarly bedrock upon which Eupsychia must be built.
The Peace Table does not simplify for the sake of dumbing down. It translates. It preserves the scholarly integrity and critical edge of the LP while opening the door for journalists, educators, spiritual seekers, scholars, and concerned citizens who may never have encountered humanistic psychology, transpersonal theory, or the Eupsychian tradition — but who recognize that the polycrisis demands nothing less than a full-spectrum reckoning with how we have organized our minds, our societies, and our world.
