Mystical Conversations with MySelf
This article provides a detailed methodological reflection on how the author—a sociologist and consciousness researcher—responded to years of intense mystical experiences. Lacking a conventional academic model for study, the author unknowingly adopted an autoethnographic approach, systematically documenting and analyzing connection events for over two decades. The piece retroactively frames this emergent method within the academic literature on autoethnography, validating it as a powerful tool for the study of consciousness, trauma, and spiritual development.
